It’s Day 98 of “The Amazing Tale.” I took cashouts again today from NerdBux, NeoBux, ProBux, and my third cashout from Ojooo. Total cashout today is $71.77. My PTC portfolio is now earning at the rate of $10 per day.

NERDBUX – THE BIG EARNER

One look at the chart and you can see which site is pulling in the largest earnings — it’s NerdBux, ahead by a large measure.

PTC Day 98 - Biggest Cashout Yet

Partly the NerdBux lead is because I now have 400 rented referrals, and they are nearly all on fire! Of course we have that Whoa! Experience at NerdBux to thank for this very happy performance.

When NerdBux started paying for every single referral click, a couple weeks ago, it really took off.

And almost immediately I began renting more referrals.

Nearly half of my daily earning now comes from NerdBux.

REDUCED SPENDING

PTC Day 98 - Cashouts: NerdBux Takes the LeadLooking ahead, I expect to be taking cashouts about every 3-5 days from now on.

I am steadily earning about $10 per day. I am also continuing to spend money, but I’ll begin to rein in spending in order to ensure that I do eventually reach break-even (still 54 days away) and move into a “profit phase” of the business, which will have it’s own unique story to tell.

One looming expense is at ProBux. I’ve been holding off upgrading there because I wasn’t really sure if it was here to stay.

My first assessment was that ProBux did not have the same squeaky-clean reputation as our other PTCs. In Spending Money to Make Money (Day 45) I took the position that an $80 ProBux upgrade would come out of ProBux earnings. Well, that day is approaching; I have now taken $62 in cashouts there. Another $18 and I will be ready to upgrade at ProBux.

  1. Tame Bear says:

The guys at TimTech SOLD NerdBux on March 18, 2014.

Please read the blog post I wrote about the events leading up to the sale: “The Rise and Fall of NerdBux.”

NerdBux has been one of the “winners” in this “Amazing Tale,” earning A LOT of money for many folks including me, right up until the day of sale. Earnings have dropped off quite a bit after that… but not to zero. I am still logging in every day and clicking all available ads, and earning money.

No, I don’t think NerdBux is dead yet, but TRUST — which is an important facet of business — has been significantly eroded.
