This is Day 90 of the “Amazing Tale” and it’s also my first $10 day!

I hope you are using the “Tame Bear PTC Spreadsheet” I made for you on Day 3 so you can track your progress and know when you hit your first $10 day. If you’ve been following along and doing the same things I’ve been doing to steadily boost income in our Paid-To-Click (PTC) advertising sites, then your first $10 day is just around the corner, or maybe you’ve hit it already!

Though it may not seem like that big a deal, it really is worth celebrating.

When you make it to earning $10 per day, every single day, then you know a profitable online business is possible, and it will keep getting better and better from here on out, you’ll see.

STEADILY INCREASING INCOME

By now you have observed my strategy repeated at multiple Pay-To-Click sites. Here it is in simplest form:

  1. Sign Up
  2. Click the Ads Every Day
  3. Upgrade
  4. Rent Referrals
  5. Advertise to Get Direct Referrals
  6. Continue Clicking Every Day

That’s it in a nutshell. You’ve also seen that I am willing to put my money to work for me — I have spent more money than I have earned, my break-even point is out there in the future… and it is drawing closer every day. The “Days to Profit” break-even point is still two or three months away. That’s ok, so long as the PTCs in my “portfolio” continue to perform as they have been — I know the break-even will come. And after that, PROFIT.

I will continue spending money at a steady rate to boost my daily income further. As income increases and I reach that break-even point, then earnings from the sites will be generating all the money needed to continue growing my income. At that point, no further out-of-pocket will be necessary to continue the steady growth of daily income from these amazing PTCs.

FOCUS ON REFERRALS

Here is a current count of Rented & Direct referrals (and actives) on Day 90…

ClixSense: 0 rented / 8 direct (2 active)

NerdBux: 325 rented (294 active) / 6 direct (1 active)

NeoBux: 92 rented (69 active) / 7 direct (2 active)

ProBux: 191 rented (186 active) / 11 direct (4 active)

StoryBux: 113 rented (59 active) / 15 direct (11 active)

It wasn’t so very long ago (see “Is It Profitable?“) that I was wondering how I would ever manage to make money at NerdBux, and then something happened there (see “NerdBux: All I Can Say is…“) to turn everything around, and I started renting referrals like crazy. From 100 to 325 rented referrals in 73 days.

Run the numbers and see how many active rentals you have operating. What do your numbers tell you?

THE CHART

Paid-To-Click: Focus on Referrals

StoryBux is set to pass ClixSense. I am now upgraded in both. NeoBux has been cooling lately, fewer ads, fewer referrals clicking every day. It’s still earning, but ProBux is hotter today, and set to blow past NeoBux. Meanwhile, NerdBux is pulling away from the rest.

THE STORYBUX STORY

I received an email just yesterday from “Kevin,” the owner/admin at StoryBux. He is informing all members that he is unable to pay; all pending cashouts have been returned to Main Balance, and Kevin suggests we use that money towards advertising on the site.

As it happens, I had a pending Cashout of $6.58, which apparently I will no longer be receiving. While that is a disappointment, I appreciate Kevin’s candor. It takes guts to admit your failures, especially when you owe people money. I will of course be much less enthusiastic about renting referrals at StoryBux, since that no longer looks to be a money-maker. I will be letting my current rented referrals expire. I have already done some advertising at StoryBux and was not very impressed with the results. For now I will continue monitoring the situation and see what happens.

Hello my friends,

I was trying to solve all troubles but now it’s time to give up. I was thinking today and now i know that my time is over.

I have sold one of my sites and is working fine with new owners. I decide to do the same with StoryBux.

YOU MUST KNOW THOMETHING: StoryBux will be online untill i sold it. I own the domain, the script and the server so your ads and money will be here. All will be fully working but i can’t pay. I ask all of you to use your balances to adverstising and referrals. You can use StoryBux to promote all your links. The trafic here is very high and new memebrs join daily.

IF SOME HONEST MEMBER WANT TO GET STORYBUX, PLEASE SEND MAIL …

And then today news arrives that a new owner, “Bwise,” is stepping in to run this one. So I’ll continue to click at StoryBux and watch with interest to see what happens. I’ve put all my existing earnings into advertising at StoryBux, and have begun earning again from zero.

  1. Tame Bear says:

The guys at TimTech SOLD NerdBux on March 18, 2014.

Please read the blog post I wrote about the events leading up to the sale: “The Rise and Fall of NerdBux.”

Earnings have dropped off quite a bit after that… but not to zero. I am still logging in every day and clicking all available ads, and earning money.

No, I don’t think NerdBux is dead yet, but TRUST — which is an important facet of business — has been significantly eroded.

  2. Better take a look ay Probux. Forum is down for weeks now. Unable to cash out for over 2 weeks, says paypal limit reached, try 4 x a day still not able to cashout. Tried to create an ad 10 days ago, still not approved. Was going to transfer huinds to purchase bakance and at least get some benefit from what appears to be a dying site.

Yes Roger, I am seeing the same thing you’re seeing at ProBux, and none of it looks good.

I am ready to call ProBux DEAD, even though the site is still there and you can still click and appear to be earning. But if you can’t cashout, and you can’t use your earnings to purchase advertising, then the site is absolutely useless.

I’ve been planning a broadcast to all my readers this weekend about ProBux. And since ProBux has been one of my “Core 4 PTCs” I will be replacing it with one of the others I’ve been testing — WordLinx or ScarletClicks or Jill’s Click Corner — I’m haven’t decided which one yet.

It was on Day 84 of “The Amazing Tale” that I first introduced both WordLinx and ScarletClicks. I am net positive in both of them, and just recently upgraded.

For those of you who want to peek ahead, I introduced Jill’s Click Corner on Day 235, same day I traded NerdBux for Ojooo. (So far, that has been a very good move.)
